We get on the roof
Every time, before any number gets written down. Not a look from the driveway, not a drone pass, not an estimate from a satellite image. Photographs from your roof, of your problem.

One trade, done properly, in a climate that does not forgive shortcuts.
01The story
02What that buys you
Most roofing companies in Tucson do everything. Tile, foam, shingles, coatings, and metal when it comes up. There is nothing wrong with that, and for a lot of homeowners a generalist is exactly the right call.
The problem is that metal is the system that punishes inexperience most, and it does it slowly enough that nobody finds out for years.
A metal roof lives or dies on things a generalist does not think about often. Whether the panels were given room to move, and how much. Where the clips went and how far apart. Whether the seam was closed properly along its full length. Whether the flashing at the wall was formed for a monsoon that pushes water uphill, or just for rain that falls down. Whether the underlayment is rated for the temperature it will actually see under metal in a Tucson July.
Get those wrong and nothing happens. The roof looks perfect. Then somewhere in year six or year eight, the fasteners have walked, the sealant has cooked, and a storm finds all of it at once.
We do metal, and only metal, so that those decisions are the everyday work rather than an occasional variation on it.
03How we work
Every time, before any number gets written down. Not a look from the driveway, not a drone pass, not an estimate from a satellite image. Photographs from your roof, of your problem.
The most expensive job we sell is a replacement, and it is the one most often sold too early. If your roof has years left, that is what you will hear, in writing, from the people who would have been paid to replace it.
Panel system, underlayment specification, flashings, trim, tear off, disposal, deck repair rate and allowance, and exclusions. Written down, so you can hold it against anyone else's number and see where they differ.
No tile, no clay, no shingles, no spray foam, no built up flat roofs, and no coating work on anything that is not metal. If that is what your house needs, we will say so on the phone rather than take the appointment.
04The assessment
An estimate written from the driveway is a guess with a price attached to it. Ours starts with an hour on the roof, and this is what that hour is spent doing.
You keep the photographs and the written scope either way. If the roof does not need work yet, the estimate is the thing that says so.
